The initiative has minimized the total amount of cardboard boxes substantially at ABENA's central distribution center in Denmark.
“In six months, we have repaired 12,500 cardboard boxes with a sticker, instead of repacking and replacing them with new boxes. That has saved us a lot of time and resources, and our customers still receive their parcels in a quick and safe manner”, says Kristina Grøndal Troelsen, Quality Manager at ABENA Logistics. The sticker has a white, dotted line that can be cut so it folds neatly around the corner of the box.
