ABENA is part of a project to redesign, develop, and test a new thermal jacket with short sleeves made from only one material type. Using only one material type makes it possible to repurpose after use, preventing the extraction of unnecessary virgin resources.
In comparison, the traditional thermal jacket is made from multiple materials that cannot be repurposed into other products.
We finished the testing phase of the jackets at the end of the financial year 2023/2024.
