The new year started very well for ABENA Frantex as the company won the award “Best Eco Product 2020” for our baby diaper range, Bambo Nature, and the incontinence product for moderate incontinence, ABENA Pants.
The competition takes place every year and is organized by the head of the French bio consumer marked, “Bio à la Une”, one of the largest and most trusted eco-organizations in France.
In order to enter the competition products must hold an ecolabel and be sold in specialty stores. Each product is sent to a panel consisting of 100 bio consumers. These consumers act as a jury and test the products in real-life situations to evaluate them according to performance, structure, odor, and packaging. To win the award a product must 1) be the first of its category and 2) receive an average score of 16 out of 20 or more.
