Aabenraa - April 6 2022. The first donations of essential relief items from ABENA are on their way to Ukraine via Poland.
ABENA subsidiaries ABENA Poland and ABENA A/S (Denmark) have coordinated the effort on behalf of the ABENA group. The donated items consist mainly of gloves, wound care and protective wear products.
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, ABENA has received multiple requests for relief products from individuals, relief organizations and public institutions. It has been paramount to ABENA that the support we offer is as efficient and relevant as possible.
To ensure the donated items are aligned with the needs of the Ukrainian authorities, ABENA Poland has coordinated the relief effort in close cooperation with the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and the Ukrainian Embassy in Poland.
The first truck with donations left Aabenraa on Friday April 1, 2022. At least three more trucks are planned to follow in the next 2 weeks.
